2022-03-08 Inglis Bypass

Out and about with Carl Roepe.  This was taken a couple of weeks ago.  This whole area is really neat with the canals and all.  I will post all this week featuring this area.

I visited a local tackle shop and on the wall was a photo of someone that caught a big fish.  This fish must have been a good 3 ft long.  The owner, Captains Cove Outfitters Inglis Yankeetown Fishing Tackle Rods Reels Bait had talked about how fish will come up the canal and feed on the smaller fish that get tangled up in the turbulence at the lock. Check out the google earth link below.

There are all kinds of recreational items like swings, slides, basketball courts and of course picnic tables and restrooms (Composting).  This is a great little spot to stop at an enjoy.
